Sex Therapy, Psychotherapy & Sexology Coaching
For Partners & Couples
with
Moushumi Ghose, LMFT
How I work:
As a systems focused clinician, in my work I prefer to include the partners rather than just the individual. I believe that change is more effective when we work within the system rather than pulling the individual out of the system.
Here is a blog I wrote about this
I can give you referrals for individual sex therapists.
My work reflects extensive experience and knowledge both personally and professionally with the LGBTQIA++ communities, Kink/BDSM, ethical /consensual non-monogamy and polyamory as well as extensive and ongoing education, in psychology, sex therapy, sexology, somatic and trauma based training.
How long does sex therapy take?
While some clients find that sex therapy / sexology coaching can be done in 6–10 sessions, depending on their goals and pace, other partners often prefer sessions that are ongoing in order to dive deeper into long-term relational patterns.
Because every couple moves at a different pace, some partners may need extra time in certain phases to fully integrate the work and achieve guided mastery.
How long and how often are sessions?
Sessions are typically scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, for one hour.
I also offer 90 minute sessions for couples.
What is the cost?
Session Fee:
$180 - $225 Individuals 60 Minutes
$230 - $275 Couples 60 Minutes
$350 Couples 90 minutes
Can I use my insurance?

I am an Out-of-Network Provider, meaning I do not work in-network with insurance companies, but if you have a PPO insurance plan, you may seek reimbursement from your insurance company. This means I may provide monthly Superbills directly to you, and you will submit it directly to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. The relationship is between you and your insurance company.

I am licensed in California and Oregon, so you may submit to your insurance if you live in those states
-
Please note: Many insurance companies will not reimburse for couples therapy as "relationship problems do not qualify for medical necessity."
